National Account Executive – Inside Sales

The National Account Executive is responsible for all print and digital advertising sales for assigned accounts, publications and brands. This inside sales position is responsible for prospecting, selling and closing contracts for the company’s advertising offerings while maintaining client relationships and developing new opportunities within an assigned territory via telephone, email and social media.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in telemarketing sales and has a knowledge of and/or a passion for media and content marketing, with experience in a business-to-business sales environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain a high level of activity daily, weekly and per project to drive expected sales
  • Develop new accounts through prospecting, cold calling and responding to inbound leads
  • Stay up to date on the latest competitive information and market trends
  • Accurately record all activity and track sales interactions with leads, prospects, clients and team members into a sales database (Salesforce.com)
  • Prepare for and actively participate in team meetings, one-on-one weekly meetings with sales management and quarterly company meetings as scheduled
  • Collaborate with team to identify opportunities to build new projects, expand existing verticals and respond to prospects’ or clients’ needs and wants
  • Communicate learnings from prospects and clients to sales management to help facilitate improvements in offerings and sales strategies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in outbound sales via telephone (media sales preferred) with national consumer brands
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Ability to cold call, prospect and close new accounts
  • Knowledge of inbound marketing strategies
  • Experience in growing and maintaining business
  • Strong negotiation skills

Account Executive – Entry Level Inside Sales

The Account Executive is responsible for all print and digital advertising sales for assigned projects, publications and brands. This inside sales position is responsible for prospecting, selling and closing the company’s advertising offerings while maintaining client relationships and developing new opportunities within an assigned territory via telephone, email and social media.

Training and development of skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this position is provided. Average first-year income potential is $50k+.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Junior Graphic Designer

At EMI, a junior graphic designer will be ready to develop their existing skills by working with senior creative staff on a range of ambitious and innovative projects. Responsible for helping to drive the creative direction of campaigns, an understanding of typography, layout, animation and art direction will be needed to help the team produce the best work possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist designers in project execution to meet set deadlines.
  • Offering input to creative meetings and sharing ideas
  • Producing attractive and effective designs for all media
  • With direction, determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of type, and arranges layout based upon available space and aesthetic design concepts.
  • Apply imagination and creativity skills to develop new designs.
  • Update existing ads and banners.
  • Perform the various steps necessary, up to final printing, to transform original copy and art into the form required for printing.
  • Organizes workload for efficient time-management so as to meet multiple schedule deadlines.
  • Communicating with senior team members to receive feedback
  • Liaising effectively with other team members
  • Supporting the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects
  • From time-to-time a junior designer may need to work hours that aren’t typical, so a flexible approach is needed to get the best from the job.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study from a college or technical school or equivalent experience; 1-3 years of creative design experience in advertising or related field preferred. Ability to conceptualize and design original creative art.
  • Advanced knowledge of Macintosh and/or PC computers. Working knowledge of graphic designing software in a MAC environment. The employee is required to have skills and abilities in the following areas: Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, WordPress/HTML
  • Communication is a big part of the job, so the junior designer must feel confident enough to contribute to the entire creative process. Keeping a finger on the pulse of current trends is also key when moving towards promotion and recognition. Ability to read and write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers and/or other employees. Excellent presentation skills with written and electronic media. Ability to interact with clients and internal team members enabling the designer to reproduce artwork in line with client’s needs.
  • A junior designer needs a wide range of design and creative capabilities. These include: Adeptness with leading design software packages, a determination to achieve and succeed, some creative industry experience, the ability to meet deadlines in a high pressure environment, a background of working as part of a design team, the ability to see projects through from inception to production, consistency regardless of project size, good organizational skills that support the rest of the team, the motivation to maintain and improve design standards, the willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
