The Gold Standard in Higher Education: U.S. News’ America's Best Colleges Issue Is Coming in August

U.S.News & World Report and EMI Network are counting down to the year’s most exciting publishing event for anyone interested in higher education.

The magazine’s annual “America's Best Colleges” issue – this year’s August 27th edition – is one of the most anticipated and widely read issues of the year. Its sister publication, the America's Best Colleges Guidebook, hits major newsstands on August 21st and will be available until August 2008.

For colleges and universities, these publications are a wonderful opportunity to reach readers in select markets or across the country, according to Dan Magarian, president of EMI Network.

“We can help your school gain regional or nationwide recognition with a custom-written advertorial or display ad,” Magarian says. “Our professional staff works with colleges across the country to identify the appropriate coverage area and create the right full-color ad for their unique needs.”

Since 1983, EMI Network, a Cincinnati-based marketing firm, has created more than 20,000 advertorials and placed them in top national magazines. Clients have included some of the country’s leading educational institutions, healthcare providers and businesses. In recent years, the company has expanded its services to include Web banners and Digitorial® College Tours on USNews.com.

U.S.News & World Report first published its annual rankings of colleges and universities in the fall of 1987 and added graduate school rankings in 1994. To be considered for ranking, a college or university must be regionally accredited and have a total enrollment of at least 200 students.
